One useful step · At your own pace
Make a useful start with AI. Find your way around files and notes, then bring an AI you already use. Choose something that matters to you, give it helpful context, and learn to judge the result.
10–15-minute setup · 25–35-minute AI lesson · Free AI tools are enough · A worked example if you prefer
01 / Choose A task worth doing Start with your needs. Decide what a useful result would look like.
02 / Give context A little background Share the details that help. Keep your private and unrelated information out.
03 / Check and keep Guidance you can reuse Notice what worked, ask for a correction, and keep a small context brief for next time.
Bring your AI into the lesson Give your AI the course context , then check what it read. If it cannot open a link, paste the same text instead. No GitHub account or AI browsing feature is required.
This is the first working prototype. You can use the files-and-folders activity, notes guide and whole AI lesson without an account. Pilot accounts save your place and a short reflection in Moodle. Accounts are currently provided by Finlay; public sign-up and email reminders are still being developed.
Keep your personal context portfolio in your own notes. If you use a pilot account, share only a brief, non-sensitive reflection.
